Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 2026

At Stringra (stringra.com), we believe user privacy is an inviolable architectural requirement. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding user information, our core client-side processing guarantees, and third-party advertising partners including Google AdSense.

1. The Core Guarantee: 100% Client-Side Processing

Your text, source code, data payloads, and documents never leave your device.

All utility tools hosted on Stringra (including whitespace cleaners, SQL IN generators, line break removers, JSON formatters, and HTML strippers) execute entirely inside your local browser using modern client-side Web APIs (such as JavaScript V8, DOMParser, and Web Workers).

  • We do not send your pasted inputs to any remote server or cloud API.
  • We do not log, store, inspect, or retain your raw or transformed content.
  • Once you close or refresh your browser tab, your text data is completely eliminated from memory.

2. Third-Party Advertising & Google AdSense Disclosures

To keep Stringra 100% free for developers and researchers worldwide, we display contextual and interest-based advertisements served by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense.

In accordance with Google’s Advertising Policies and requirements for publishers:

  • Third-Party Vendors: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on Stringra.
  • DoubleClick DART Cookie: Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads to users based on their visits to Stringra and other websites across the internet.
  • Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising: Users may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings.
  • Industry Opt-Out Portals: Alternatively, you can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the Digital Advertising Alliance (AboutAds.info) or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA).

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Stringra does not use tracking cookies for our utility tools. However, minimal browser storage is utilized for user preferences:

  • Preference Storage: We use browser localStorage exclusively to remember your UI preferences (e.g. dark/light theme, tab widths, custom delimiter defaults, and cookie consent preferences).
  • Third-Party Vendor Cookies: Third-party ad networks (like Google) and performance networks (like Cloudflare) may place cookies on your browser for fraud prevention, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and ad delivery.

4. Analytics & Infrastructure Logs

We may use privacy-preserving analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to monitor aggregate traffic patterns, browser distribution, and uptime. These analytics platforms operate without collecting personally identifiable information (PII) and without cross-site tracking.

Standard HTTP web server request logs (IP addresses, user agents, referrers) may be processed transiently by edge networks (Cloudflare CDN) solely for DDoS mitigation, rate-limiting, and network security.

5. European Economic Area (EEA) & UK User Rights (GDPR)

If you are located within the EEA or the United Kingdom, you hold statutory rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:

  • The right to access, rectify, or erase any personal data held about you.
  • The right to withdraw cookie consent at any time through our on-site cookie preference controls.
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory data protection authority in your member state.

Because Stringra does not store user accounts or save input text to databases, we hold zero user-generated content records to disclose or delete.

6. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)

For residents of California:

  • We do not sell personal information: Stringra does not sell or rent personal information, customer lists, or pasted data to data brokers.
  • Notice of Collection: Third-party advertisers may collect online identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP addresses) for ad delivery as detailed in Section 2. You have the right to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising via the opt-out links above.

7. Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA)

Stringra is a developer utility hub intended for general audiences, professionals, and students. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect architectural enhancements or changes in regulatory standards. The "Last Updated" timestamp at the top of this document indicates the effective date of the latest revisions.
